Digital Breathalyzers

Breathalyzers (also known as breathalyser, alcohol tester) are measuring instruments testing the breath alcohol (BAC / breath alcohol content). The breathalyzer on the market differ mainly in the use of different sensors. There is on the one hand the electrochemical sensor and / or infrared measurement (Evential test). Furthermore, there is still the cheaper semiconductor sensors which can find mainly on "testing-gadgets". All sensors in common is, that they have to be calibrated regularly to maintain accuracy (usually every 6 -12 months).
