Dräger Alcotest 7000 med
The Dräger Alcotest 7000 med is particularly suitable for medical use for determining the breath alcohol concentration. For example, it can be used to diagnose vascular injuries (including in urology during transurethral prostate resections) after prior application of an ethanol-containing irrigation solution. It is also used to test patients for prior alcohol consumption in the emergency room or prior to methadone substitution. The Dräger Alcotest 7000 med. replaces the model Alcotest 6820 med, which is no longer available. Please note, however, that the medical CE certification of the device is only valid with the corresponding mouthpieces with CE certification. The manufacturer explicitly points out here that if the non-corresponding mouthpieces are used (i.e. without CE certification), the medical certification will expire in use!
According to manufacturer Dräger, the Alcotest 7000 med. should be available end October 2022 at the earliest. For more information on this article, please follow the link: Dräger Alcotest 7000 med.
